Sayfiev: We have no right to stop on the way to the World Cup

The Uzbek national team has achieved a historic result and qualified for the World Cup for the first time. After a very important match against Qatar, our team's experienced defender Farrukh Sayfiev answered the questions of Zamin.uz correspondent and openly expressed his feelings.

As Sayfiev emphasized, one should not think that everything is over with qualifying for the World Cup.
— Our goal is to speak our mind at the World Cup, to defend the honor of our country with dignity. There are still great responsibilities and new tests ahead. We will not just go to the World Cup and participate, but we will fight for maximum performance and victories, — said the defender.

According to Farrukh Sayfiev, the change of coaches, the contribution and experience of each coach have played an important role in the success of the national team.
— Starting in 2021, there have been big changes in our team. Srechko Katanets has set his own requirements as head coach. Before that, we also learned special qualities with Timur aka. There were good and difficult times with each coach, in each game and at each stage, but we were together in spirit. The teams that many considered easy opponents, especially the games against the DPRK, were difficult and intense. To win in modern football, strong motivation, unity and unquenchable desire are required, — says the player.
